DrG w Pet

As your trusted Monrovia animal hospital, we are proud to provide the highest quality of care for your family pets. Some of the most common reasons why Pasadena families turn to our animal clinic include regular pet wellness exams, scheduled vaccinations and grooming. Whether you’re a first-time pet owner or you have years of experience yourself, we are here to help!

About Our Monrovia Veterinary Team

Here at Monrovia Animal Medical Center, our team is led by Dr. Gueniat, who has had a deep love and compassion for animals since she was a small girl. After graduating from Veterinary School in Bern, Switzerland in 1983, Dr. Gueniat went on to focus her training towards reproductive physiology and internal medicine. She is joined in the practice by Veterinary Assistant Nshan, as well as Animal Care Specialists Jennifer, Yesenia and Kiara.

Preventative Services Offered

As a full-service animal hospital, we provide a wide range of preventative vet treatments for your pets including:

  • Pet Wellness Exams
  • Pet Vaccines
  • Pet Dental Care
  • Nutritional Counseling
  • General Surgery (including Spay and Neuter Services)
  • Life Stage Pet Care
  • Bathing and Grooming
  • Parasite Control
  • And Much More!

We believe that preventative wellness care is an important part of a healthy and happy life for your family pets. Annual wellness exams are the best way for us to become familiar with your pet’s general health and give us an opportunity to screen for early warning signs of more serious health conditions. From there, we can work together to determine the best preventative vet care plan to meet your pet’s lifestyle and health needs.

Specialized Vet Care

If your pet suddenly becomes ill or injured, our Monrovia veterinarian offers a variety of specialized vet care services that can help. With the help of advanced diagnostic equipment, we are able to conduct X-rays and other diagnostic testing to treat your pet’s condition in a safe and fast manner.

If your pet is in need of surgery, we are able to provide schedule and emergency surgery services including internal surgery, lump removal and more. And with the help of our in-house or online pet pharmacy, we are also able to provide your family pets with all of the necessary medications that they may need to promote fast healing and recovery.

  • "Dr. Nicole Gueniat and the staff were wonderful with my two bunnies. I knew little about them except for what I've researched online. Dr. Gueniat spent extra time during my appointment giving me important facts and tips about raising bunnies: best food, how to hold, and more. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Gueniat for your extra time and information!"
