Meet the Monrovia Veterinary Team
Our veterinarian, Dr. Gueniat has had a fascination with animals since she was a young girl. After graduating from Veterinary School in Bern, Switzerland in 1983, her childhood dream came true. From there she went on to become specially trained in reproductive physiology and internal medicine at Iowa State and Oklahoma State. Now focusing on her work as a family veterinarian, Dr. Gueniat is passionate about preventative veterinary care and dentistry.
Other key members of our highly-skilled and knowledgeable staff include our veterinary assistant Nshan, as well as our client relation and animal care specialists Jennifer, Kiara and Yesenia.
Services Offered at Our Monrovia Animal Hospital
As a full-service veterinarian office, we offer a wide range of comprehensive services to our patients in San Gabriel Valley. We understand that your pets are an important part of your family and that they deserve the highest quality of care available. Some of the services we offer include:
Pet Wellness Exams
Better preventative care begins with your pet’s annual wellness exam appointment. During this annual checkup, our veterinarian will complete a comprehensive physical examination in an effort to detect early warning signs of more serious health conditions. We will also complete a dental examination, make sure that your pet is up-to-date with vaccinations and address any health or behavioral concerns you may have.
Vaccines are an important part of your pet’s overall wellness plan. They are designed to help prevent chronic illnesses and disease that can be spread by other animals and parasites. To ensure that your pet is protected from the threat of common diseases, we will recommend a vaccination schedule that fits their individual health and lifestyle needs.
Just like their owners, your family pets need regular dental checkups and cleanings. Periodontal disease is a major health risk for your pet, but with full dental cleanings at least twice a year, you can help keep their mouths healthy and happy.
